We live in our own little piece of paradise in Vermont. Our property borders thousands of acres of national forestland so we can hike right out the back door. The mountains are always beautiful and the dogs and I try to take advantage of them as much as possible. In the winter we do a lot of snowshoeing. We try to cross country ski, but we usually get a rider or two on the backs of our skis! I have been owned by Aussies since 1987, when I got my first bitch from Gefion. She was a wonderful companion and lived many years.
It has just been in recent years that I have persued something more than having a companion, expanding into the conformation ring and playing with agility. I plan to do a lot more with them in the near future, mainly tracking and therapy work, along with keeping them in the conformation ring.
My dogs are my kids and are loved unconditionally.
